Service Changes to Route 10 & 12

Service Changes to Route 10 & 12

Effective with new Walmart opening on Gold Street

The Manchester Transit Authority (MTA) announces the following services changes effectively immediately upon the opening of the Walmart on Gold Street.  Additional service changes will be put into place this July as part of larger annual adjustments. Walmart/Mall times stay the same on Route 12.

Route #10 (Valley St / Mall of NH)  Bus will now travel back to Huse Road directly from the Mall of NH.  Please note, this means the bus will not service the old Walmart location or stops on Kaye or Keller Streets.  These stops will only be serviced by MTA Route #8.  This will improve connection times with downtown transfers.

Route #12 (S Beech St / Mall of NH)  Bus will now travel from Bradley Street, left on Gold Street and service the NEW Walmart location on Gold Street.  Bus will then exit Walmart onto Gold and turn right into the rear entrance to Hannaford.  From Hannaford, bus will travel to Mall of NH via John Devine/S. Willow directly and will NO LONGER service the old Walmart or stops on Kaye or Keller Streets.  These stops will only be serviced by MTA Route #8.  On inbound trip, bus will enter Hannaford and exit via the rear entrance than stop at Walmart again.  Please note, both Walmart AND Hannaford will now have automatic service both inbound and outbound.  Passengers will no longer need to request service.

Additional, Route #12 will no longer service Mount Washington College.  Bus will exit Rivers Edge and turn left onto Queen City, resuming normal route. Inbound service to Rivers Edge continues on request.

These service changes will be effective immediately upon the opening of the new Walmart location on Gold Street, anticipated to happen April 20th.  If the opening is delayed, these service changes will be delayed.
