This is a great opportunity to step into a Full-Time Transit Operator position.

Salary
-Training: $12.00/Hour
-Starting Salary: $24.30/Hour
-Six Months: $25.65/Hour
-One Year: $27.00/Hour

Benefits

-Applicants who already hold CDL-B, Airbrake, and Passenger receive $500.00 ($250.00 after six months, $250.00 after one year).

Responsibilities
-Operate a transit bus on a fixed route or on a demand response schedule. Availability Monday-Saturday, a scheduled day off based on seniority.
-Conduct a complete vehicle safety check before and after use.
-Attend and participate in safety meetings.

Optional extra work: school field trips and commercial charters.

Qualifications
Successful applicants must:
-Be 18 years of age or older.
-Hold a valid driver’s license for a minimum of two years.
-Have an excellent driving history (more than three recorded moving violations during the past two years will disqualify your application).
-Bring a current copy of their Motor Vehicle Record.
-Read and speak English sufficiently.
-Pass a DOT physical examination in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
-Pass a DOT drug/alcohol screening in accordance with Federal Motor -Carrier Safety Regulations.
-Pass a New Hampshire criminal background check.
-Be a high school graduate or have a GED.
