Manchester Transit Authority (MTA) is committed to the effective implementation of the DBE program as defined in Title 49 Part 26 of the Code of Federal Regulations entitled “Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in Department of Transportation Programs.”

DBE Program Goals

 

The DBE program was created to ensure nondiscrimination in the award and administration of federally assisted contracts, establish a level playing field for DBE’s can compete for federally assisted contracts, eliminate barriers that directly affect participation of DBE’s in federally assisted contracts, and provide assistance towards the development of firms that can compete successfully in the marketplace outside of the DBE program.

How To Apply

Completion and submission of a certificate application is required for first time applicants. Additional materials for the certifying agency in your home state may be required, as well as participation in an on-site interview. Further information can be found on the NH DOT Website.
